Recycle Your Used Electronics and Help the Library
If you are wondering what to do with your old cell phone, laptop, iPod, digital camera, camcorder or handheld game system because you received a new one over the holidays; bring them into the Whitefish Bay Library and add them to the EcoPhone recycling box. The library is taking part in a recycling program for discarded electronics that are then sent out to EcoPhone to be correctly recycled with all toxic substances removed. As part of our participation in the program the library receives a payment from EcoPhone for every full box we send them. There are restrictions to what EcoPhone will accept for recycling, so please stop in to see if your item is acceptable for recycling.
