Grand Opening "New" Luggage Store
After much anticipation, the "New" RedCap Luggage & Gifts will be having their "Grand Opening" ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday, July 11th at noon, with the celebration continuing until 3:00.
"We decided to hold off the celebration until the street re-opened." Owner Jo Ann Schulz stated, "We had a soft opening and so far business has been fabulous!"
The celebration will kick off with a top notch celebration. Besides champagne & caviar, Schulz plans on having "celebrities" join the festivities with "look-a-like" stars sipping the bubbly and hob-nobbing with the customers. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the long list of extremely exciting events.
RedCap Luggage & Gifts located at 415 E. Silver Spring Drive in Whitefish Bay, will be "giving away" an enormous amount of door-prizes, including backpacks, luggage, alarm clocks, and language translators. Refreshments will be served by the "Celebrities", and representatives from major suppliers will be on hand to meet the guests.
Schulz was the manager of Kaehler World Traveler for thirteen years, when the previous owner decided last February to concentrate on the Chicago market and close the Whitefish Bay location.
It was the neighborhood that convinced RedCap Luggage & Gifts to re-open the store with the promise of shopping locally, and keeping the Whitefish Bay stores number one on their shopping list. "I hope the people of Whitefish Bay hold to their promise, and stop at our store to show their support." Schulz says in anticipation, "It seriously will take a village to keep Silver Spring Drive alive and prosperous."
"I cannot wait until the customers see our new product selection" Schulz said, "I always said, if I had a dollar for every "LeSportsac" customer I turned away, I'd retire by now!"
Now RedCap Luggage & Gifts boast the "largest" selection of LeSportsac in the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. The store plans on not only carrying the products carried by the previous owners, but all the new and exciting products available to the consumers.
"I am tired of everyone thinking Milwaukee is about two to three years behind in fashion and function." Schulz stated. "We are offering the same products available in Chicago, New York, Paris, and London." No need to fight the road construction to Chicago, when we have it all right here in beautiful downtown Whitefish Bay!
Let's all make a point of supporting this fabulous store and begin by joining the "Celebrities" and showing our support to RedCap Luggage & Gifts during the "Grand Opening Ceremonies" on Saturday July 11th.
