BAYSIDE

BROWN DEER

1Two Milwaukee women, 21 and 23, and a 25-year-old Waukesha woman were arrested for theft from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 6. The women entered a fitting room with an empty purse and items valued at more than $200 and left an empty fitting room with a full purse. They fled in a car but were stopped in the 5500 block of West Brown Deer Road.

2A 23-year-old Brown Deer man was taken into protective custody after he was found walking naked in the 5200 block of West Brown Deer Road at 10 p.m. Oct. 14. When police tried to stop him he refused to follow their orders telling them to "(Expletive) off." After struggling with police the man was electronically shocked and taken to a hospital. A relative was notified and told police the man had consumed a hallucinogenic herb, telling her they would "expand his mind."

3A 17-year-old Brown Deer boy was arrested for possession of one gram of marijuana and a curfew violation in the 9000 block of Brandybrook Trail at 12:50 a.m. Oct. 17. Later that day, his mother reported him missing when he failed to return home. About 11 p.m. he did return home but his mother would not let him inside and he called police. She also called police reporting the boy kicked her garage door. Police went to the home and cited the mother, 38, for neglect of a child - denying him shelter - because it was 45 degrees and raining.

4Jewelry valued at more than $400 was reported taken from the 6500 block of West Floral Lane on Oct. 10.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman living with a relative in Brown Deer was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic related after she pushed and hit a 20-year-old Milwaukee man at 9:20 p.m. Oct. 19. The woman admitted being angry adding she did not mean to hurt the man with whom she has a child. The man, who was arrested on an outstanding warrant, would not sign a no-contact order.

FOX POINT

5A Fox Point couple reported being the victims of a fraud after wiring more than $10,000 to a Panama address on Oct. 19 after receiving calls telling them their granddaughter had been arrested in Canada and money was needed for bail, legal fees and more fees. They sent the money via Western Union at a Walmart at 1:30, 5:23 and 7:19 p.m. They then called their attorney who tried to stop the transfer of the money but was unable to. Their granddaughter was in the United States and fine.

6A resident reported the theft of an electronic tablet and charger valued at $110 from the 7500 block of North Seneca Road before 9 a.m. Oct. 22. There was no sign of forced entry.

7A woman, a non-Fox Point resident and age not listed, was cited for hit and run after she backed her car into another car in the 8600 block of North Port Washington Road and drove away. Video shows the woman hitting the car, getting out of her car, looking at the damage and driving off. Police went to her home and at first she denied knowing why they were there and then admitted hitting the other car saying she would pay for the damages. Damage to that car was $1,500.

GLENDALE

8An 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of 0.7 grams marijuana after a witness reported that she and two other women had smoked the drug in a restroom at Buffalo Wild Wings, 590 W. Northshore Drive, at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 19. The woman and her friends, 18 and 19, denied smoking marijuana in the restroom but did admit smoking it before they came inside. They were banned from the center.

9A 1999 Plymouth van, value not listed, was taken from the Hilton Inn, 4700 N. Port Washington Road, before 4 a.m. Oct. 21.

10Copper and metal piping valued from $500 to $1,000 was taken from the former Dove Healthcare facility, 1633 W. Bender Road, over the last three or four months and reported at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 21. The building is being demolished.

11A smartphone, calculator, school books and various electronics, value not available, were taken from a car in the 5200 block of North Port Washington Road before 11:30 a.m. Oct. 22. A window was broken to gain entry.

12A suitcase with electronics inside, value not available, was taken from a car parked at 5810 N. Bayshore Drive during the day Oct. 22. A window was broken to gain entry.

13A backpack with personal items including Vicodin was taken from a car in the 5200 block of North Ironwood Lane about 8:30 a.m. Oct. 23. A window was smashed to gain entry.

14A computer, checks, keys and other items were taken from a car's trunk parked in a lot at Bayshore Town Center, 575 W. Glen Bay Ave., between 5 and 6:15 p.m. Oct. 23. There was no sign of forced entry.

15A $2,500 briefcase, $1,800 purse, $800 wallet, $400 cash and a checkbook were taken from a car in the 2100 block of West Silver Spring Drive before 9:45 p.m. Oct. 23.

16A smartphone, debit card and other items, value not available, were reported taken from a work van in the 5700 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 9 a.m. Oct. 24. When the theft was discovered the debit card had already been used at three gas stations. There was sign of forced entry.

17Two pairs of sunglasses valued at $810 were taken from a display at the Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Northshore Drive, between 2 and 4 p.m. Oct. 25.

SHOREWOOD

18An unsecured 2001 motorbike valued at $700 was taken from an unlocked garage in the 4100 block of North Bartlett Avenue on Oct. 12 to 19.

19An unsecured $350 mountain bicycle was taken from the 3900 block of North Oakland Avenue on Oct. 16 to 19.

20A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for driving without lights and with a flat tire in the 1000 block of East Capitol Drive at midnight Oct. 19. He had two glass pipes with residue and a marijuana cigarette.

21A resident reported that a white male about 18 years old and riding a bicycle grabbed his $10 rake and pedaled away in the 2600 block of East Menlo Boulevard at 1:15 p.m. Oct. 20.

22A 23-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for disorderly conduct after throwing a glass of beer in an employee's face at Village Pub, 4488 N. Oakland Ave., at 10:45 p.m. Oct. 21. The man used profane language and after throwing the beer went outside and threw a glass against a wall breaking it.

23A 26-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 1500 block of East Capitol Drive at 2:50 a.m. Oct. 21. The man, who admitted having two beers in downtown Milwaukee, had a blood alcohol content of 0.16.

24A 66-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 4100 block of North Oakland Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 23. The man, who was driving a car, ran a red light and almost hit a 40-year-old man in the crosswalk. That man slapped the side of the car as it passed. The driver then pulled over, jumped out of his car and yelled at the man and slapped him.

25A $400 flat screen TV was reported taken from the 1700 block of East River Park Court the morning of Oct. 23. There was no sign of forced entry.

26An unlocked 2008 Infiniti G35 valued at $25,000 was taken from a driveway in the 3500 block of North Lake Drive before 7 p.m. Oct. 23. It was recovered in the 3000 block of N. Eighth Street about 9 p.m.

27Jewelry, value not available, was taken from a bedroom in the 3700 block of North Lake Drive between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 24. The front door was unlocked while the resident did yard work.

28A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a tree in the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive at 3:15 a.m. Oct. 25. His BAC was 0.19. No injuries were reported.

WHITEFISH BAY

29A men's bicycle valued at $200 was taken from the 5200 block of North Hollywood Avenue on Oct. 20 and reported Oct. 26.

30Two cars were entered and a digital media players valued at $100 was taken from one and nothing from the other in the 5800 of North Santa Monica Boulevard early morning Oct. 21 and reported Oct. 23.

31A Honda Odyssey van, year not listed, was taken from a driveway in the 1200 block of East Courtland Place between 12:45 and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22. It was recovered in the 3700 block of North 36th Street at 9 p.m. Oct. 23.

Cars were entered in the 4900, 5100 and 5700 blocks of North Santa Monica Boulevard and the 5400 block of North Shoreland Avenue Oct. 22 or 23. Prescription medicine and a $500 wedding ring were taken from two cars but nothing of value from the others.

32Items valued at more than $3,500 including a laptop, electronic tablet and headphones were taken from a car in the 5500 block of North Shoreland Avenue Oct. 22 or 23.

33Two wallets, cash and credit cards with a total value of $150 were taken from the 900 block of East Circle Drive the evening of Oct. 23. Some of the credit cards had been used. There was no sign of forced entry and there was an unlocked service door.

A 45-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was mailed a citation Oct. 26 for contributing to the delinquency of a minor because that minor has missed 91 class periods since the beginning of the 2012 school year. Attempts to contact the woman have gone unanswered.

34A purse, cash and wallet valued at more than $600 were taken from a locked car at the rear of the 400 block of East Silver Spring Drive during the day Oct. 27. A window was broken to gain entry. The credit cards had been used in Milwaukee.

35A car alarm awakened a resident in the 5100 block of North Elkhart Avenue at 3:45 a.m. Oct. 28. The resident heard footsteps and saw a person drive off in a car without lights.

NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded to 143 calls, 98 emergency medical and 45 fire/rescue, Oct. 22 to Oct. 28.
