1 A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana after a report of a suspicious car at a closed business in the 4300 block of West Bradley Road at 12:20 a.m. June 23. There was a strong odor of marijuana in the car and man admitted smoking it earlier. A blunt weighing 0.8 grams was found along with corner-cuts baggies with residue.
2 A handbag, value not listed, with $100 cash was taken from a car in the 8000 block of North Grandview Drive prior to 6:30 p.m. July 2.
3 A smartphone, a GPS unit and a custom acoustic guitar in a case, with a combined value of more than $1,200, were taken from a locked truck at Courtyard by Marriot, 5200 W. Brown Deer Road, overnight July 2 or 3. A door and window had damage of over $150.
4 A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct at Fairy Chasm Park, 5712 West Fairy Chasm Road, at 9 p.m. July 4. She came to the park to pick up her children and then yelled at other children, calling them names. They told their parents, who called police. The woman was located and admitted the incident saying, "I hate those kids and I teach my kids to hate those kids."
5 A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving with a child under 16 in the car, driving with a suspended license and unsafe lane deviation after a 911 caller reported seeing an erratic driver in the 5500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:15 a.m. July 5. The woman, who said she had only one margarita hours before, would not or could not take a breath test after spitting and then biting the breathalyzer. She was taken for a blood draw.
6 Three females, ages and residences not released, were arrested for theft after refusing to pay their bill at Applebee's, 9080 North Green Bay Road, at 4:25 p.m. July 6. Two other females, ages and residences not released, were arrested for theft again for refusing to pay their bill at 12:10 a.m. July 9.
7 A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test, driving without a valid license, unregistered vehicle, failure to stop for a red light, unsafe turn and speeding 72 miles per hour in a 40-mph zone in the 4000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2:50 a.m. July 7. The man admitted drinking, saying "I know I'm drunk."
8 A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for burglary and forgery at 10 p.m. July 7 after breaking into a home in the 8600 block of North 62nd Street at 3:30 p.m. July 7. When arrested, the man, known to the homeowner, admitted entering the residence, saying he had nowhere else to go.
9 A man was arrested for possession of 0.9 grams of marijuana and woman was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 5700 block of West Wahner Avenue at 10 p.m. July 8. A witness called police reporting the woman yelling and screaming. The woman said she understood she was being disorderly and apologized. Their ages and residences were not released.
10 A tar-like substance was found on the front steps of a home in the 1800 block of East Fox Lane June 23 and reported July 3. Damage was listed at over $9,000, and the case is under investigation.
11 A Fox Point man was cited for trespassing on a neighbor's property in the 400 block of East Spooner Road at 11:35 p.m. June 30. The neighbor's son reported that the man was in their yard looking in a window. Police went to his home, where he did admit going into his neighbor's yard and looking in a window because he heard suspicious noises of a sexual nature.
12 The theft of a smartphone was caught on surveillance video at Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, at 5:21 p.m. July 1. A male is seen handling the phone, which was secured when the alarm sounded. An employee turned off the alarm so the "customer" could handle the phone and then left to help other customers. The man then removed the alarm and left the store with the phone.
13 A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving and speeding 49 mph in a 35-mph zone in the 7500 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:50 a.m. July 6. The man, who said he had two beers, had a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.136.
14 A resident reported that her greyhound dog was attacked by a coyote in the 1100 block of East Dean Road about 10:20 a.m. July 7. She saw the coyote grab her dog's upper rear leg and when she yelled, the coyote ran off. The dog had puncture wounds but was not seriously injured.
15 A 17-year-old Fox Point boy and a 20-year-old Fox Point man were both cited for underage drinking after they were stopped for riding their bikes without lights in the 7900 block of North Lake Drive at 2:40 a.m. July 9. Both smelled of alcohol and admitted that had been drinking at a friend's house. They were given a warning about riding without lights at night.
16 A 25-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after he was found slumped over in his car in the 500 block of West Glen Bay Avenue at 8 p.m. July 3. He was found with a trace amount of heroin and a syringe and cup with residue. He was taken to a hospital.
17 A 64-year-old Glendale man was arrested for violation of a lawful order and a 47-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for violation of a protective order/bail jumping in the 6500 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 6:45 p.m. July 8. The younger man, who had a restraining order and was not to be within 300 feet of that location, hid in the older man's car as that man drove to the apartment complex.
18 Two cellphones, one a $500 smartphone, were taken in a strong armed robbery as the victim walked in the 6000 block of North Port Washington Road about 10 p.m. July 8. The victim was approached by a 22-year-old man, who took the phones and fled in a car. The smartphone was recovered.
19 A 16-year-old girl and a 25-year-old woman were arrested for theft of 43 clothing items, valued at over $1,000, from Boston Store, 5701 N. Lydell Ave., at 2 p.m. July 9. The females had filled two carts with clothing and entered a fitting room. They exited without the carts and purchased a pair of shorts. They then returned to the fitting room and exited with store bags filled with the items and fled the store. The woman fled but the girl was arrested and taken to the Police Department. A short time later, a woman, who said she was the girl's aunt, came to the station to pick up the girl. A Boston Store security guard was there and recognized "the aunt" as the other suspect and she was arrested.
20 Power tools valued at $1,450 were taken from a garage in the 5500 block of North Iroquois Avenue July 8 or 9. There was no sign of forced entry.
21 A 38-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for operating a car without the owner's consent after taking a Nissan Sentra from Amato Nissan, 5200 N Port Washington Road, at 7 p.m. July 9. The man got into the car, which was running along with others because an employee was moving them, and drove away. A witness called police when he saw suspect, whom he knew, abandon the car in the 6000 block of North Green Bay Avenue. The man was arrested and admitted taking the car for a "joy ride" to show the dealership it was "stupid to leave the cars running."
22 A 40-year-old man, residence not released, was arrested for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after taking bath products valued at $96 from Pick 'n Save, 1735 West Silver Spring Drive, at 9:50 p.m. July 9. The man was stopped about a block away with the stolen items and two crack pipes.
23 A fraudulent prescription for 120 oxycodone pills was reported at Pick 'n Save Pharmacy, 1735 West Silver Spring Drive, July 10. It had been filled and picked up July 9 before the fraud was discovered.
24 A 19-year-old woman, residence not released, was arrested for theft of women's clothing valued at $298 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 9:35 p.m. July 10. She took the items into a fitting room, put them into her purse and fled the store but was stopped.

25 A man was seen taking hold of a window air conditioner which then fell into the home in the 3700 block of North Oakland Avenue at 7:36 a.m. July 5. The resident said the man fled when her dog began to bark.
26 A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of stolen property outside Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., at 11 a.m. July 6. A short time earlier, the woman took a cellphone from a delivery truck at a Milwaukee location. The driver of that truck saw her take the phone and drive away. He then called his number and the woman answered, telling him he could get it back if he gave her $50. He agreed and told her to meet him at Pick 'n Save. When he arrived she was standing with the phone in her hand and he grabbed it from her. She then began to scream and yell, saying she wanted to be paid. Police arrived and arrested her.
27 A man reported he was the victim of a strong-armed robbery in the 1400 block of East Elmdale Court about 11 p.m. July 6. He was walking when two males got off their bikes and punched him in the face and head. One showed a handgun and they took his wallet and cellphone, valued at over $250, and fled. He had cuts and bruises but declined medical assistance.
28 A home was found burglarized after a man reported finding two laptop computers and papers that belonged to the residents near the 3500 block of North Lake Drive at 3 a.m. July 7. Police went to the home and found that a window had been broken to gain entry and drawers had been opened throughout the home.
29 Items valued at over $1,400, including three bicycles and a lawnmower, were taken from a locked detached garage in the 1800 block of East Menlo Boulevard prior to 3 p.m. July 7.
30 A bicycle valued at $700 was taken from a garage in the 3500 block of North Oakland Avenue on July 8 or 9.
31 Road signs and pipes valued at $350 were taken from a construction site in the 3500 block of North Maryland Avenue between July 5 and July 9.
32 Thefts from three cars were reported in the 4300 of North Marlborough Drive, the 4400 block of North Wildwood Avenue and behind the 1300 block of East Capitol Drive on July 9 or 10. Taken were two GPS units valued at about $125 each and a radio and CD player valued at $300. Damage, if any, was not yet available.
33 Two females, age and residence not released, were arrested for underage drinking after the car they were in was stopped for no headlights in the 1700 block of East Capitol Drive at 3:30 a.m. July 10. The females had blood alcohol content of 0.01 and 0.07, and the driver was warned for driving without lights.
34 Two 3-by-3-foot portions of wrought iron fences with a fleur-de-lis design valued at $100 were taken from the 700 block of East Henry Clay Street on July 6 or 7.
35 Seven juveniles were seen throwing objects at cars at North Lydell and East Lexington avenues about 2 a.m. July 7. They were gone when police arrived.
36 Two males and one female, ages and residences not released, were cited for violation of park hours after a bonfire was reported at the south end of Big Bay Park, 5000 N. Palisades Road, at 10 p.m. July 7. A 12-year-old girl who was also on the scene was turned over to a guardian. About 10 to 12 unopened cans of beer were found at the scene.
· A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for domestic violence disorderly conduct after a woman said he pushed her and grabbed her neck about 10 p.m. July 8. A further report states that the DA's office declined to issue charges July 10.
37 A green car cover, valued at $250, for a Triumph TR6 was taken from the 600 block of East Birch Avenue between 7 and 7:30 a.m. July 9.
38 A women's mountain bike, value not listed, was taken from a front porch in the 100 block of East Chateau Place between 3 and 3:30 p.m. July 9.
39 A man from the Saukville area, age not released, was arrested for thefts from three cars in the 5000 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue and one in the 900 block of East Hampton Avenue on July 9 or 10. Items taken included a $130 pair of sunglasses, a GPS unit valued at $200, a stethoscope, paramedic books and other items valued at over $1,300. A bag holding medical documents and files taken from the Hampton address were found in a recycle bin in the 4800 block of North Santa Monica Blvd. about 7:30 p.m. July 10.
40 Jewelry and a laptop computer valued at over $9,000 were taken from a home in the 5000 block of North Bay Ridge Avenue on July 11 or 12. Entry might have been gained through an unlocked rear door.
41 A man, age and residence not released, was mailed a citation for disorderly conduct after witnesses reported he yelled profanities in the 4700 block of North Diversey Boulevard about 5 a.m. July 13. When police arrived, he went inside a home, locked the door and refused to come out.
42 A purse and contents including a cellphone valued at over $200 was taken from a car in the 5000 block of North Hollywood Avenue about 10 p.m. July 12. Four purchases were made with a stolen credit card at the BP Station, 1030 East North Ave.
43 A black road bike with red rims valued at $1,200 was taken from the rear of the Fox Bay Building, 342 E. Silver Spring Drive, between 8:30 and 9:15 p.m. July 13.
NORTH SHORE FIRE DEPARTMENT
44 A fire in the engine and dash area of a car was reported in a surface parking lot in the 5800 block of North Bayshore Drive, Glendale, about 9 p.m. July 9. The fire was extinguished.
45 A 6-year-old boy was reported on the roof of a house in the 9000 block of North Lake Drive, Bayside, at 2:45 p.m. July 12. Firefighters reached the boy by climbing onto the roof through a bedroom window. No injuries were reported.
· Firefighters responded to 127 calls, 87 emergency medical and 40 fire/rescue, July 8 to 14.
