Preschool to offer

new toddler class

Whitefish Bay — Community Preschool of Whitefish Bay will begin offering a new toddler class for 2-year-olds in September 2014 to complement its existing program for 3-year-old children. Classes will be held from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and will enroll 12 students.

Like existing CPS programs, the Toddler Class will be cooperative. Parents will have the chance to work alongside teachers during class to provide a 1:4 adult-to-child classroom ratio.

The class is built upon the same foundations as the current CPS Preschool Program, which has been running continuously for 43 years. The newly equipped CPS toddler classroom will be showcased at a school-wide open house from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 11. Interested parents are invited to bring their children to visit the facility and to play.
