WHAT: Whitefish Bay High School's production of "You Can't Take It With You"
SYNOPSIS: By George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy was the basis for the 1938 Academy Award winning film featuring James Stewart, Jean Arthur and Lionel Barrymore. The story focuses on the Sycamore family, composed of a dozen or so free spirits, artists and harmless wackos. The only "normal" one is Alice who is about to be engaged to wealthy Tony Kirby. But then Tony's uptight parents meet the carefree Sycamores.
CAST: Abby Armstrong, Josh Wallace and Abby Backer, who have been in the school's productions all four years; foreign exchange students Pattranit Puapongsakorn and Peter Takacs; brother-and-sister duo, Thad and Elsa Bruno; senior Andi Gomoll, making her first appearance in a dramatic production; and Emma Weber, Ryland Tews, Andrew Park, Alex Gibson, Marc Hunter, Tim Murray, Jerry Kurek, Andrew Groble, Rachel Markwiese, Bobby Misey and Marc Hunter
