1A utility trailer valued at $1,100 was taken from Rite Hite, 8900 N. Arbor Drive, about 10 p.m. April 25 and reported April 29. The theft was caught on surveillance video.
2A wallet and $300 cell phone were taken from the 4100 block of W. Bradley Road before 11 a.m. May 11. Entry was gained through a second floor balcony door.
3A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of items valued at $202 from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 3:10 p.m. May 11. The man took the items into a fitting room and exited with those items in his backpack. He was stopped as he attempted to flee.
4A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for robbery with threat of force and trespassing after attempting to take $172 worth of baby formula from Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:20 p.m. May 13. The man, who threatened to shoot an employee, implying he had a gun in his waist band, had been warned previously that if he came back to the store he would be cited for trespassing.
5A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft of clothing valued at over $400 from Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 5:40 p.m. May 13. The woman took the items into a fitting room and exited wearing some of the items and carrying the rest in a bag.
· A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct and damage to property, all domestic-violence related, after he elbowed the face of his live-in girl-friend and then punched her in the eye at 9:40 p.m. May 13. The man also kicked in a flat screen TV and broke the woman's laptop.
6A construction company was cited for a noise violation after repeated warnings at 6300 W. Brown Deer Road about 3 a.m. May 14.
7An iPhone and a backpack valued at $225 were taken from a locked locker while the owner played basketball at the YMCA, 9250 N. Green Bay Road, between 4 and 7 p.m. May 14.
8A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was reported having a seizure in her car in the 4700 block of W. Bradley Road at 7 p.m. May 16. After a glass pipe with marijuana residue was found in the driver's door, she said she forgot it was there since it hadn't been used in a long time.
9A man reported being the victim of theft after receiving eight counterfeit $20 bills for a $400 Xbox at 9060 N. Green Bay Road at 8:15 p.m. May 16. The item had been posted on Craigslist and the owner set up the meeting with the buyer who then paid with the counterfeit bills.
10About $1,400 in damage was reported after an attempted burglary of copper piping and an air conditioner in the 8500 block of N. 59th Street May 17. Forced entry was found on a basement window. The burglary might have happened May 15.
11Two cars were broken into at the Marriott Hotel, 5200 W. Brown Deer Road, overnight May 19 or 20. One victim reported a checkbook, wallet with Social Security card and a passport taken. Nothing was taken from the other car. Both had windows broken, causing over $200 in damage.
12An 18-year-old Mequon man was arrested for underage drinking after a report of an intoxicated student urinating in the parking lot of Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road at 3:35 p.m. May 14. The teen, who said he'd been drinking rum and cokes since 11 a.m., had a blood-alcohol level of 0.19.
13Two cartons of Newport cigarettes valued at $162 were taken from Kaul Mart, 209 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 7:20 p.m. May 14. A white male asked to purchase the cigarettes and then grabbed the cartons and fled. Similar thefts of Newport's valued at over $300 were reported at Mobile Gas, 7166 N. Green Bay Avenue, at 1:45 p.m. and at BP Amoco, 525 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 6:15 p.m., both on May 15. Witnesses said the suspect drove a Ford Taurus without a license plate.
14A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he yelled at an employee using profane language at Subway, 5464 N. Port Washington Road at 4:25 p.m. May 15. The man, who was arrested at his home, also hit a glass counter making it fold inward and threw a display on the floor. He apologized for his behavior but said the employee "had an attitude" and denied being profane.
15A 16-year-old Glendale girl was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, underage possession of tobacco and theft of a $4 lighter at Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 8:35 p.m. May 15. The girl had pack of cigarettes which she admitted were hers and a glass pipe with marijuana residue that belonged to a friend. She also apologized for what she did.
16An 18-year-old Glendale man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at Nicolet High School, 6701 N. Jean Nicolet Road at 9:40 a.m. May 16. During a routine check at the school, the student was seen throwing an electronic cigarette into a trash can. It was recovered and found with marijuana residue in the hash oil.
17A 13-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for theft and carrying a concealed weapon after he took a pair of scissors and an MP3 player valued at $75 from Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 12:45 p.m. May 16. The boy had a knife hidden in his sock and also corner-cut baggies holding a white powder identified as baking soda. He said he took the baggies to school to show his friends.
18A 38-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft and a theft warrant after taking a necklace and bracelet valued at $210 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 5 p.m. May 16. The woman removed the price tags and hid the jewelry in her jacket sleeve — all seen on surveillance video. The woman, who had 11 prior theft arrests, asked police why she was taken into custody and not just given a ticket.
19Two Glendale men, 18 and 21, were arrested for disorderly conduct after a witness called police to report the men fighting in the 400 block of W. Mall Road at 3:45 a.m. May 17. One also struggled with police when arrested.
20A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft after he took a flat screen TV valued at $450 from a room at the Radisson Inn, 7065 N. Port Washington Road at 12:42 a.m. May 18. The man, who was intoxicated and couldn't remember his room number, was in the parking lot with the TV telling police it was his TV he brought from home. Police went to his room and the TV was gone and a woman there said she didn't know who he was.
21An 18-year-old Glendale woman was arrested for driving under the influence after she drove off the road, hitting a tree and a sign in the 500 block of W. Calumet Road at 2:40 p.m. May 18. The woman, who was found sitting on the ground near her car, denied drinking but said she had taken Tylenol with codeine and other medication. She was taken for a blood draw.
22A burglary was reported in the 5600 block of N. Argyle Avenue between 3:30 and 10 p.m. May 19. A rear door window was broken and the door pried open to gain entry. Nothing was reported taken.
23A male, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped for unregistered vehicle in the 3500 block of N. Oakland Avenue at 9:30 p.m. May 17. There was a strong odor of burnt marijuana in the car where a blue grinder with marijuana residue was found.
24A purse and contents including credit cards and cash was taken from an apartment lobby in the 1600 block of E. River Park Court between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. May 18. The owner had been checking her mail box and left the purse by accident.
25An undisclosed amount of Oxycodone was taken during an armed robbery at Hayek's Pharmacy, 4001 N. Downer Avenue, about 4 p.m. May 19. A male wearing a nylon mask and a grey hoodie entered the store with a black revolver and demanded the drug. He then fled.
26A employee's wallet was taken from an office in the 3900 block of N. Oakland Avenue before 2:30 p.m. May 20. The theft was discovered after at least one stolen credit card was used.
27A male and female, ages and residences not released, were arrested for two counts of theft at Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Avenue, one occurring at 6 p.m. and the other at 9:15 p.m. May 21. At 6 p.m., the couple took four containers of Tide, valued at $52, and hiding them in their backpacks as they fled the store. They returned at 9:15 p.m. and this time put steaks valued at $70 into their backpacks and again fled. However, this time they were caught on foot at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive.
28A 2002 Honda Odyssey van valued at $10,000 was taken from the parking lot of Hubbard Park Lodge, 3565 N. Morris Blvd., between noon and 1 p.m. May 22. A man came to the lodge and asked a caretaker for water. He was allowed to enter the lodge and given water and when the caretaker wasn't looking took car keys and left. The theft was reported at 4:15 p.m.
