1A robbery was reported at U.S. Bank, 400 W. Brown Deer Road at 9:37 a.m. May 5. A man handed a note to a teller demanding money and implying he had a weapon. He fled wth an undisclosed amount of cash.
2A boy, age and residence not released, was arrested for burglary and resisting arrest after taking three bicycles valued at $600 from a garage in the 8000 block of N. 55th Street about 4:30 p.m. April 25. He fled from police but was found with one bike at N. 51st Street and Churchill Lane.
3About $30 in change was taken from a car in the 8500 block of N. 59th Street April 29 or 30. No damage was reported.
4Two TVs, jewelry and a rifle, values not available, were taken from the 8000 block of N. Edge O Woods Drive before 6 p.m. April 30. A patio door was found kicked in to gain entry.
5A $150 cell phone was taken from a backpack in a closet at Rogers Memorial Hospital, 4600 W. Schroeder Drive between 9 and 11 a.m. May 1.
6A Skid Steer valued at $10,000 was taken from the 6300 block of W. Brown Deer Road between April 18 and the morning of May 1.
7A Brown Deer man, age not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct after reports of him banging on walls and yelling profanities in the 4300 block of W. Bradley Road at 1:50 p.m. May 3.
8A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for possession of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, two warrants and speeding about 10 mph over the 40 mph limit in the 5900 block of W. Brown Deer Road at 10:45 p.m. May 3. The woman had 1.48 grams of marijuana and an open bottle of beer.
· A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic-violence-related, after banging on a window and door causing the resident, a relative, to become frightened and call police at 4 a.m. May 4.
9A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for driving under the influence and refusal to take a breath test after a one-car accident in the 7200 block of N. Lake Drive at 1:47 a.m. May 11. The man, who said he had taken amphetamines, refused at first to take field sobriety tests.
10Business documents were taken from the 4400 block of N. Port Washington Road between April 25 and 30. Pry marks were found on a door.
11A 68-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft after taking 10 pair of glasses valued at over $2,000 from Sunglass Hut, 490 W. Silver Spring Drive at 2 p.m. April 30. The woman fled in a car, which police stopped. Police found in the car items valued at over $680 taken from Talbots, J. Crew and Land's End.
12Two Milwaukee females, 17 and 23, were arrested for theft of children's clothing valued at $521 from Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 p.m. April 30. The pair entered the store and filled a purse with clothing and left the store. They returned and filled the purse again but this time were stopped as they attempted to drive away, and the clothing was recovered.
13A wallet and contents valued at $200 were taken from an office at LaQuinta Inn, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, before 5 p.m. April 30.
14Credit cards and about $10 cash were taken from a wallet in a classroom at Good Hope School, 2315 W. Good Hope Road, between 4:45 and 6 p.m. April 30.
15A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for robbery at US Bank, 5888 N. Port Washington Road, at 12:45 p.m. May 1. The man entered the bank, handed a note to a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
16Thirteen text books valued at $3,645 were reported taken from Cardinal Stritch University Bookstore, 6801 N. Yates Road May 1. The theft, which would have occurred between March and May, was discovered during an inventory.
17A 1996 Honda with its engine running was taken while the owner was inside the BP Station, 525 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 8:30 p.m. May 2, and recovered in the 5100 block of W. Hampton Avenue about 2 p.m. May 3.
18A 1997 Dodge van was taken from the 2100 block of W. Raleigh Avenue, and a 2002 Dodge Intrepid from the 6100 block of N. Green Bay Avenue May 2 or 3 and both recovered in the 4700 block of N. Parkway Avenue May 4. Another Dodge Intrepid was also taken from the 6100 block of N Green Bay Avenue April 30 or May 1. It was recovered in the 2000 block of W. Cornell Drive May 6.
19A 19-year-old female student was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after the report of a strong odor of burnt marijuana in a dorm room at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road at 7:50 p.m. May 2. A grinder with residue, rolling papers, a trace amount of marijuana and eye drops were found in her room. She said she was sorry and had made a mistake.
20A witness reported that a front door was open and a garage door kicked in the 4900 block of N. Port Washington Road at 8 p.m. May 4. What might have been taken was not yet available.
21Four wheels and tires valued at $7,300 were taken from a BMW at Concours Motors, 5990 N. Green Bay Avenue, sometime from May 3 to May 5. The car was found sitting on landscape blocks.
22Over $2,000 cash and a $500 iPad were taken from the coffee shop in the Union at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, May 5.
23About $20 in coins were reported taken from the 200 block of W. Brentwood Lane before 11 p.m. May 5. A patio door was found open.
24A 36-year-old woman and two men, 41 and 44, all of Milwaukee, were arrested for theft of steak and shrimp valued at $210 from Pick 'n Save, 1735 W. Silver Spring Drive, at 10:15 p.m. May 5.
25Three Milwaukee males, 13, 15 and 18, were arrested for theft of a Jeep taken from Laurel Oaks senior community, 1700 W. Bender Road, about 1 a.m. May 7. The males drove into Whitefish Bay and Fox Point, abandoning the car, and were arrested in the 1800 block of E. Dean Road about 2:30 a.m.
No reportable incidents this week.
26Cars were entered but nothing was taken in the 3800 block of N. Morris Blvd and the 1600 block of E. Menlo Blvd. May 1 or 2, and the 4400 block of N. Larkin Street May 6 or 7.
27A Shorewood man, age not released, was arrested for drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, a warrant and refusal to take a breath test after a witness saw him driving about 5 mph with a flat tire at N. Bartlett Avenue at E. Capitol Drive at 2:20 a.m. May 2.
28An LCD TV valued at $386 was taken during a burglary in the 1800 block of E. Newton Avenue between 12:30 and 5:30 a.m. May 2. A screen was cut to gain entry causing $50 damage.
29A resident called police after finding a pornographic video in the 4400 block of N. Woodburn Street at 3:30 p.m. May 4. It was destroyed.
30A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for theft after being stopped for riding his bike without lights on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of E. Capitol Drive at 2:40 a.m. May 5. The man was found with a box of silverware, value not listed, which he admitted taking from a donation bin at Locust and Humboldt.
31A 2004 Chrysler Sebring valued at $4,000 was taken from a parking spot behind the 4300 block of N. Wilson Drive May 5 or 6.
32A Milwaukee man, age not released, was arrested for theft of over $140 worth of candy and gum from Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Avenue, at 3:35 p.m. May 7. The man was seen stuffing over 30 packs of gum inside his shirt along with dozens of Snickers and Kit Kat bars and attempting to leave the store.
33An attempted theft of a 2004 Dodge was reported in an underground garage in the 700 block of E. Glendale Avenue overnight May 8. The car had damage to a door lock and the steering/ignition column.
34Over $500 was taken from an unlocked safe at North Shore Bistro, 4518 N. Oakland Avenue about 9 a.m. May 8. A man entered the back door and asked for a job application. While an employee was busy, the man took the money and fled.
35A Whitefish Bay man, age not released, was cited for trespassing after a neighbor reported him coming into her yard and moving a section of fence in the 1000 block of E. Henry Clay Street at 11:50 a.m. May 4.
36A man, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and driving with a revoked license in the 1100 block of E. Fairmount Avenue at 2 a.m. May 5. His blood alcohol level was 0.12.
37A woman, age and residence not released, was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and possession of marijuana in the 5000 block of N. Palisades Road at 12:55 a.m. May 6. Marijuana weighing .8 grams was found on the passenger seat. Her blood alcohol level was 0.12.
· A resident reported being the victim of a scam after transferring $600 into a bank account to reserve a Miami Beach rental advertised on Craigslist May 6. When he didn't hear back he called a number and was told there was no reservation in his name.
38A man and woman, ages and residences not released, were cited for trespassing after a resident saw them on private property in the 5600 block of N. Shore Drive at 8 p.m. May 6. The couple said they were just following a trail and didn't see any signs that it was private property.
39A laptop computer and cables valued at $300 were taken from the 1600 block of E. Cumberland Blvd. between midnight and 7 a.m. May 7. Entry was through an unsecured back door.
