1A man was seen taking perfume, body lotions, shower gel and other items valued at $290 from displays at Bath and Body Works, 9096 N. Green Bay Road, about 3:50 p.m. May 7.
2A $599 money order was stolen from the rent deposit box at Brooklane Apartment Management Office, 8250 N. 46th St., before 6 p.m. May 5. The tenant purchased the money order at a Walmart and when it was reported stolen, she requested to put a stop payment on it, but the store said it was too late. Other rent checks were reported stolen in April and March.
3More than $400 in cash was taken from an unlocked car in the 5300 block of West Wabash Avenue overnight May 10 or 11. The owner said he "inadvertently" left his money in his unlocked car.
4A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana, with a prior conviction, driving while suspended, refusal to take a breath test and unsafe lane deviation in the 9300 block of North Green Bay Road at 2:30 a.m. May 13. The man, who was found with 7.8 grams of marijuana, admitted having a "few beers" but thought he was sobering up. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.138.
5A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft of bedding valued at more than $600 and a parole violation at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 2 p.m. May 15. The man was seen putting pillow cases and two sets of king size sheets in a cart, covering them with a black towel and covering that with two pillows. He only paid for the pillows. When stopped he said he didn't mean to steal but "freaked out" because he'd just heard a relative had been shot at and arrested.
6A 16-year-old Brown Deer boy was taken into custody as a missing juvenile and also arrested for obstruction after a witness reported him sleeping on a bench at Algonquin Park, 7850 N. 51st St., at 7 a.m. May 20. The boy, who had been reported as a runaway at 7 p.m. May 16, ran when he saw police and tried to hide behind trees.
7A 54-year-old Brown Deer woman was mailed citations for failure to license her dogs and for dog at large when one of her dogs ran after a woman nipping at her heels in the 6700 block of West Goodrich Lane at 7:20 a.m. May 22. Police went to the woman's home but no one answered the door. She was warned previously for these violations.
8A 22-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of one ounce of marijuana, driving after suspension and given 15 days to correct a defective light in the 7800 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:30 a.m. May 19. As police approached his car, the man was seen moving around frantically.
9A cellphone and case valued at $650 were taken after being left on a bathroom sink in a men's room at Best Buy, 8755 N. Port Washington Road, about 7:50 p.m. May 19. The owner said he realized within minutes he had left his phone and when he returned it was gone. His GPS system was activated registering the phone was a few blocks away. It has not been recovered.
10A 16-year-old Fox Point boy was arrested for underage drinking and along with a 16-year-old Bayside girl for a curfew violation in the 8500 block of North Fox Croft Lane at 1:45 a.m. May 20. When police arrived, the boy became angry telling them all he wanted was to "go into the (expletive) house" and that this was all "(expletive) (expletive.)" His preliminary BAC was 0.113. The girl had not been drinking.
11A 33-year-old Hartford man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, and driving after suspension in the 7400 block of North Port Washington Road at 4 a.m. May 20. The man said he had "four or five beers" but stopped drinking at 1:30 a.m. His BAC was 0.13.
12From $30 to $50 was taken from two wooden donation boxes for St. Vincent DePaul Charities at St. Eugene's Congregation, 7600 N. Port Washington Road, before 4 p.m. May 21. The boxes were forced open.
13A resident reported six large plastic bags filled with personal items were taken from her backyard in the 7600 block of North Seneca Road at 3 p.m. May 22. Other garage bags, sitting at the end of the driveway, had been collected.
14A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft, resisting arrest and a burglary warrant after taking clothing valued at $260 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 1 p.m. May 19. The man went into a fitting room and put on shorts, muscle shirts and jeans under his own clothes and fled the store but was stopped.
15A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for providing alcohol to an underage person and that person, a 19-year-old Milwaukee woman, for underage drinking at Buffalo Wild Wings, 590 W. Northshore Drive at 6:45 p.m. May 20. A server reported to the manager that the man ordered an apple martini and gave it to the woman to drink and she drank it. They were told that was against the law and not acceptable. Within minutes, the woman poured the martini into another glass and continued to drink it. When she was warned again, she became loud and rude and police were called. The woman continued to cause a disturbance seemingly to make sure everyone heard her.
16A 2000 Chrysler minivan valued at $3,000 was taken from the Columbia St. Mary's lot, 202 W. Olive Street, within a few minutes of 1:45 p.m. May 22. It had been left unlocked with a pair of $325 sunglasses inside. The van was recovered with the ignition cylinder damaged in an alley behind the 4900 block of North 24th Place about 8 p.m. May 22.
17Aluminum-made items valued at $1,846 were taken from a front yard in the 6300 block of North Port Washington Road on May 21 or 22. Items taken according to the resident were an aluminum patio set, tire rims, a ladder, a wheelchair and bicycle. The resident was urged to better protect his belongings.
18A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for fraud and an outstanding theft warrant at Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, at 12:30 p.m. May 23. The man was seen picking up three items on display and returning them at the service desk saying he'd purchased them. He received an in-store credit for $71 and was stopped and arrested.
19A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after arriving to meet with his parole officer at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, 4160 N. Port Washington Road, at 10:15 a.m. May 24. In a routine search, 19 individual bags holding a total of 28.2 grams of marijuana were found on his person. The man admitted he intended to sell the drug in Milwaukee for $4 to $5 a baggie as he had done in the past. He also said he had last used marijuana May 23.

20Two 14-year-old Milwaukee boys were arrested for burglary in the 4100 block of North Murray Avenue at 11:15 a.m. May 22. The resident came home and found them in her home and police were called. The boys had taken watches and some cash but when arrested all stolen items were recovered. Entry might have been gained through an unlocked window.
21A 30-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for fraud after using a stolen credit card to charge more than $530 at various stores including Pick 'n Save, 4145 N. Oakland Ave., and Kohl's at Bayshore sometime May 22. The man was identified and traced when he had to show his ID at a Gamestop store. He was arrested at his home in the 3800 block of North Humboldt Avenue.
22A wrought iron trellis valued at $200 was reported taken from the 4600 block of North Wilshire Road on May 21. It was last seen May 1.
23Credit cards and $200 cash were taken from an unlocked car parked along the alley in the 5400 block of North Diversey Boulevard overnight May 23 and 24.
24A wallet and a some change were taken from a car in the 5500 block of North Berkeley Boulevard overnight May 23 and 24.
