Rachel Spike and Andrew Covi of Minneapolis are planning a June 16, 2012, wedding in Lake Elmo, Minn.
Parents of the couple are Kirby and Julie Spike of Lake Elmo and Art and Sue Covi of Whitefish Bay.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minn., in 2006 and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2010. She is a veterinarian with Banfield Pet Hospital in Minneapolis.
The future groom earned his bachelor's degree in graphic design from UM-Twin Cities in 2010. He is a Web designer/developer with Clockwork Active Media Systems in Minneapolis.
