The sounds and smells of the season wafted along Silver Spring Drive during the Holiday Stroll on Nov. 27 that included a parade that ended with Santa in a reindeer-drawn sleigh.
North Shore residents stood in line to receive the H1N1 vaccine at Brown Deer Village Hall on Oct. 28. The North Shore Health Department restricted vaccinations to people in at-risk groups, such as toddlers and pregnant women.
Whitefish Bay School District voters will be polled Nov. 3 with two referendum questions for either $9 million in infrastructure repair and improvement, or $13 million for additional space in several Whitefish Bay schools.

Pets and people had a chance to play together at this community event to benefit Gilda's Club Southeastern Wisconsin, on Saturday, August 1st, 2009. Fun family and pet activities followed a walk through Shorewood!
Whitefish Bay residents and village officials took to Silver Spring Drive on July 3 to mark the official reopening of the street. The ceremony marked the end of a beautification project that began in October, 2008.

Reporter Jane Ford-Stewart tagged along with the volunteers who braved the rain to give Whitefish Bay a spring clean-up, featured in this video.
