some FACTS about Gov. Palin
Not opinion, just some facts about Governor Palin...remember, not opinion, but FACTS:
She tried to get books banned from the public library that she did not like when mayor.
She says our invasion of Iraq has made it "God's War."
She strongly supported the "Bridge to Nowhere" until it became extremely unpopular, and then, as Governor, she opposed this bridge ...but gladly took the money from Washington anyway. She has taken billions of dollars in handouts from Washington.
As mayor, she hired a PR firm to bilk as much money as she could from Washington, and got an inordinate amount for a small city.
The media/press never asked on the air about her daughter's pregnancy, they asked the questions off the air, and it became a media frenzy when a Republican spin-doctor couldn't wait to make it an issue and brought it up. The spin professional kept charging the media for a smear campaign when the media had not broadcast anything about the pregnancy. The Republicans made it an issue themselves. Then Obama immediately said it was a story that should remain silent and be only a family matter.
After CNN tried to do its journalistic duty and ask pertinent foreign affairs and international relations questions that the Republicans could not answer, they cancelled a later interview that was scheduled with John McCain. Truth and principled journalism apparently have no place in a McCain democracy.
[Let's wait and give Governor Palin a chance. Let her be questioned on foreign affairs and international matters, on military matters, on other matters that the person a heartbeat from the president would have to know. Let's see how she does. Fair is fair. But the spin put on her has been so distorted, it is difficult to know the truth. We shall find out soon, I hope.]
